>>It would be stupid enough to drive near a Military Base, much less a Nuclear Military Base with even fireworks in the trunk<<

It happens all the time. The USA has lots of military bases with public highways running right past them. Folks drive these highways everyday without realizing they're anywhere near a military base.

The only northbound road out of here goes right past two major bases. People drive by every day with guns, ammo, and sometimes fireworks which they buy in a little town up north. The fireworks are against city law, but it's rarely enforced. BTW, Elmendorf AFB got it's first F-22 Raptors this week...

Four of the six F-22 fighters that arrived at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, fly over the base Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007. The first of 40 F-22 Raptors landed on Elmendorf Air Force Base, making it the first base outside of the contiguous U.S. to house them. When their arrival is complete at the end of 2008, the base will be home to more than a fifth of the Air Force's Raptors. (AP Photo/Al Grillo)
