Bob, Rose asked me to echo her IH posts here onto SI.

IH members are too timid to respond to her off-the-wall ideas,
so she hopes SI members are less so.

Once Upon a Post...
On this board you mentioned a valuable reason for yourself to become a premium IH member
was the ability to have the private message feature available.
Knowing that the creation and viability of IH depended upon your individual insight as to what was
needed and important, so rather than allow Mr. Zumbrunnen and Meatloaf to prioritise all coding tasks
exclusive to what you know as certain areas like PMs that add extra value to a premium membership,
and thusly to the bottom line of hard cold cash to ADVFN seperate from the eye-balls ad revenue,
explore the expansion of the PM facility to an advanced level such that free members will want it more
than the few bucks they save via the free membership.
So have meatloaf set a flag to determine if a PM has been read.
This allows the sender to view a new field added in the Mailbox page to indicate
if and when the PM was received, and if it was not then allow the sender the ability
to put a lock on it so that it can be cancelled or edited.

... consider a Forever Membership for IH [like] US Postal Service's Forever Stamp
Each cost current Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual or Annual and be available
for use anytime in the future as if "just purchased"...
... issued similiar to a bearer bond in that no record is kept of the owner,
or any transactions involving transfer of ownership.
Whoever physically holds the certificate can submit it to IH,
and once its existance and non in-use is verified, its good to go...
Postal "Forever" stamps [used in] Great Britain for the past 18 years...
... like store gift cards [a percentage] will no doubt be lost or go unused.
