I agree with your POV. That's why my threads insist on links to outside, 3rd party material so folks can determine on their won the veracity of the sources. And it's not just the NYT, LA Times, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN or MSNBC that spews DNC Talking Points as fact either. The USA Today, NPR, BBC News, The New Republic, Daily Kos, Michael Moore, Al Franken, The Nation, MoveOn.org, Truthout.org, opensecrets.org, The Daily Misleader, Molly Ivins, Imus, Friedman, the Independent/UK, CommonDreams.com, Mother Jones, Democratic Underground, Capitol Hill Blue, etc., etc.
And Monte wasn't banned for simply failing to post a link. He was banned after being repeatedly warned about multiple violations of thread rules (IE, baseless personal attacks, name calling, troll like behavior, off topic posting, failing to provide links, ET AL.). |
