Ahhh, but today we are fighting in two countries...in WWII, we were fighting in MANY countries..... Any idea what the ratio was in WWII between Generals and other Officers who were actually OUT with the men and women fighting in the War?

And how many Generals and other Officers are actually out fighting with the men and women fighting in the War, not the Generals and Officers who are desk jockeys in the Pentagon and other places.....

Maybe unclewest would point us in the right direction to find that out....
