i am not making any assumptions. i posted news articles. and a pipe bomb is a pipe.. not paper. No idea where fbi guy is coming from. is he trying to tone down the investigation?

If a cop stops you and says you have pipe bombs in your car. i expect a cop recognizes a pipe bomb. If they called the bomb squad out and they confirmed pipe bombs and blew them up i expect bomb squad recognize a pipe bomb vs roman candles or 6" salutes.. (those were fun as a kid like a stick of dynamite.)
