If you understand CMGI lingo on their expanding business with one customer, you would be enthused.

What is supply chain software?

It is when you received a purchase order from your customer, your software generates a QC travel sheet. Which send out orders for raw material, and get the product built, then inspected and shipped to the customers.

When you ship to the customer, you have to pack, label and print bill of lading, and invoice to your customer.

CMGI does some of those procedures, and gets paid for their supply chain software, transporting the goods involved.

They have a new supply chain product, when goods are returned, they can get them sold.

which eventually will led to getting more purchase orders for their customers. All in a day's work to do supply chain software.
