At least the Iraqi Parliament didn't go away for the full 2 months as they had first planned. Maybe some of them won't even bother to come back. Bush has taken more vacation time than any other modern President. Yet another way to show that he has no concern for anyone other than himself and his base. I don't know anyone who talks about the war any longer. It is just another thing that is going on elsewhere at a relatively low level. Buying back to school clothes or getting in a mini vacation are the serious topics of the day. As Dubya said: if you want to be patriotic, go shopping! Keep all those Chinese factory workers gainfully employed so they can save money, loan it to us and then own us. What an administration.
