The real question we should be asking is how many "money market funds" bought CDO's to get that little extra yield and are now wondering if they need to halt redemptions like some of the hedge funds have??? The next big question we need to ask ourselves is how many investors are going to cash out of their hedge funds between now and the deadline for this quarters redemptions on August 15th?? Whatever that number is you can multiply it by 10X to get the effect it will have on the market. Nothing like the good old days with a max margin of 30-50% A big down day today could spell black Monday?? Jim
