London news came out saying all central banks had to repair liquidity around the world, except no action in England.

This news is not true.

Feds are not announcing any repo in new york times?

Brussels had to repair liquidity in EU, not individual central banks in EU, anymore?

Wall street volatility is mostly momentum plays, daytraders against market makers and specialists. Volume is extremely high, but short interest build up and covered at the end of the month tells the real story.

If daytraders lose too much money, then trading volume will go down. On the other hand, if daytraders make too much money, then the daily trading volume will go up.

At the present, NYSE is about 2.5 billion share volume. Nasdaq is about 3.7 billion shares traded daily at maximum.
