Be careful how you characterize these injections, as I would hesitate to call it “printing money” just yet. This is a temporary repo injection, NOT PERMANENT (which they still haven’t engaged in since May 3), and could disappear next week. The total weekly injections were $87.5 billion, but $32.5 billion already expired, leaving $55 billion outstanding. That’s large yes, but $38 billion of this expires Monday.
