UNTD,

I usually don't give in to these wild speculations, but I have heard rumours from several sources (including WSJ) about quant funds having to unwind positions. I think quant funds may have been invested in UNTD (for example Rennaissance Tech has been a holder) and were liquidating the past few days. Once the liquidation pressure let off, the stock rebounded.

I have noticed some huge volatility in several of my stocks (SFN another one), which tend to be lower Price/Book and/or high dividend and/or high Price/Cash Flow, which typically quant funds like to buy. They were way up today and down the prior few days.

However, this could be largely my imagination.

Good luck,
MC
