HERNDON, Va., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Imaging Corporation (Nasdaq:IMGX) today announced its newest imaging and document management customer, Lubbock National Bank, in Lubbock, Texas. Lubbock National Bank has chosen TREEV Voyager II(TM) to increase efficiency and reduce costs in its loan and credit departments, making it the first local bank to adopt imaging technology.
Lubbock National Bank, a community bank with $200 million in assets, is comprised of multiple branch locations in the Lubbock, Texas area. The bank's main location acts as the repository for all original files and paper documents, including credit applications and loan agreements. Credit and loan files that needed to be used by loan officers in remote branches were being distributed manually through expensive courier services and by fax. This process was not only costly, inefficient and time consuming, but also resulted in the original documents being misplaced or lost.
The bank chose TREEV's Voyager II document imaging system to manage their growing credit and loan application processes. Over 400,000 pages from active loan files will be scanned into the Voyager II system so that officers at any location are able to access files online in seconds. The costs associated with employing a courier delivery service to coordinate the sharing of documents with other branches will be eliminated. And there are no concerns about losing files because scanned documents are quickly accessible on RAID and permanently stored on CD.
Vice President of Lubbock National Bank, Lynda Hail, commented, ''We chose TREEV's Voyager II document imaging system for various reasons. The Voyager II system is very flexible and we liked the fact that TREEV develops its own document imaging software. TREEV gave us a 'hands-on' trial at its technical office in Denver -- no other company offered this service. Finally, the company projected a very professional image. We expect higher efficiency in handling typical workflow between our three branch locations and greater ease of use now that more than one person can access files.''
''Lubbock National Bank has made a strategic move in adopting the Windows(R) NT-compatible Voyager II imaging system. By becoming a technology leader in its local banking community, Lubbock National Bank is able to provide more responsive customer service. Loan and credit applications are processed faster and more efficiently, which gives the bank a distinct advantage over the competition,'' said Network Imaging's Senior Vice President Brian Hajost.
