I appreciate your insights but I'd really like an answer to my question.

I'm starting to conclude sales may be all sleight of hand (as in shells and the pea).

I would like to know if, as I suspect, China, Russian, Indian and mid-east CBs are buying. Perhaps it's more devious than that. A rotation of announcements. eg: The Suisse sold to France and Spain sold to Germany only to be rotated down the road. To my knowledge "purchases" aren't announced.
