Disclosure-yes I am long this market... (: But even if I were on the sidelines now, I'd probably be shopping for great stocks at bargain prices. I know myself to that extent...n/ng!

Curious, were you long up until your return to the thread? If so congrats-I'd like very much to be able to flip to a short position when the situation warrants...but I guess I just haven't attained that level of sophistication as a trader. It's a gross generalization but it seems most traders incline towards one mindset or the other, unless they are purely going on technicals...

I watched the bubble burst back in 2000. If I had flipped my stance sometime during that year and gone short, I would have made a huge fortune...I intend to do better this time around. (:

Maybe I'll start with puts on QCOM. I held that for years and watched it trend back and forth between low 30's and mid-40's. I see it going to the low 30's, here, easy.
