Thanks....I thought that's what I remembered.... And again, then I ask:

Did McCaffrey say exactly this at the beginning of 2001? Or had he (or any of the other Generals) said anything during the Clinton Adm when the Budgets were cut so drastically?

I think the American people have to know WHO made the decisions to cut the Military forces and equipment, and WHY ....and WHAT the Military Generals/Admirals, etc said to Congress at that time.

Then we need to know if that cutting was successful or not. And WHY or WHY not....

Then we can get on with changing things if they need to be changed.

I really believe the majority of the American people are pretty sensible when it comes to our protection....we just have to have more information....
