Albert, why not? I wrote a pretty elaborate piece on BBTK earlier today on how I think this could and will be deployed. In my post to Britt, I did not mean to imply that the ADSL traffic will be carried over the switched voice network.

There will likely be two seperate logical networks. (IP/Phone) It would be easy, relatively speaking, to have multiple customer ethernets going to a bridge or router. Likewise, it would be easy to connect that router to a NAP. There are lots of ways to do it but I THINK what I am describing is what GTE and Pac Bell each intend to do.

If I am right, everything is essentially in place. Granted routers are needed but that is trivial. They are not always cheep though.
