Karl Rove's legacy will be as a fascist traitor who went beyond dirty politics into a realm of lawlessness which included actively trying to subvert our entire democracy and Constitution. Of course Rove was not enough, he had support from millions of wrong-headed Americans who dont remember why we fought WWII. Hopefully Rove will soon be in prison where he belongs. The excuse he's using that he wants to spend time with his family is just another Rove lie. Rove is gay. He has a beard wife and a college kid son who probably hates him. Hopefully the lesson in the end will be that cheaters do not win. That is the best lesson for our kids. Rove helped Bush steal both elections, and created tremendous support in the GOP for outright lying, cheating, smearing, subverting and disenfranchising voter rights. He is an evil man, and anyone who defends him is evil too.
