Ted, your characterization of the Korean missionaries as "upper class", "self-righteous", and "holier than thou" is not only inaccurate,

Ten, did you read the article........its the article that came to that conclusion, not me. From the article:

"South Korea Turns Against "Arrogant" Christian Hostages"

"Korea now has more than 36,000 churches, and many of them are loud and proud with a firm commitment to missionary work and a passionate zeal for evangelism."

but downright hypocritical considering where you come from

Huh? Now what is that supposed to mean?

Even you should be able to admit that going into Afghanistan to look for Christian converts, the homebase of the extremist Muslim Taliban, is the height of arrogance.......or stupidity. Take your pick!

I wonder if you feel the same way about Daniel Pearl.

Let me guess ... when it comes to the mainstream media, it's "different."

Nope. I thought Daniel Pearl and his wife were nuts to go to extremist Pakistan as a Jew and his wife an Israeli.

I think Michael Ware as an Aussie is crazy to be in Iraq....same with the NBC correspondent who is American. They are trying to make names for themselves. I think ambitious is trumping caution. I don't think its a good thing.
