rmk.v - ouch is right, even though for me it is a smallish loss, don't have much ... just feel really stupid because, after buying the first shares carefully, i waited for the .v-listing spike to be over and 'bottom-fished' the rest at .25, lol ... seemed like a good idea at the time
fwr.v - i'm stuck with this sick puppy as my contest pick this year, actually let a few go in that ramp a few weeks back, found i don't miss them all that much ... and that's unlikely to change before they get the U-co rolling and uranium comes back into fashion
mlm.v - Millstream is an example of a classic company that didn't go the major-dilution route through the hard times ... just more or less shut down, and now its share can react to developments ... well, sometimes it can, just not lately, still it's had great relative performance overall, and should do well going into september
wim.to - William in '97 was my biggest loss ever so far, hopefully for all time ... just kept averaging down, ignoring both a gold bear and the pressure of toxic convertibles, duh ... actually it could be argued that it was the latter which more thoroughly did them in, as they couldn't finance any more, even though their properties were all great [and are now being mined - Jacobina, Velardeña, Bjorkdal] ... share structure is absolutely important, always |
