Aside from the fact that it was an interesting story, I brought it to this thread because the parallels are uncanny. Hidden emails, lack of hands-on supervision of a case, an irate and terribly competent judge, etc.

The critical distinction was the yanking of the trial team during the trial, which caused a lot of problems b/c the judge made rulings which really screwed up the defense. Here, Q lost anyway, so the kinds of sanctions which the Fla. judge imposed can't be imposed. Rudi's going to hit Q with a substantial monetary sanction, that much is clear.
