I have lots of deer on my property. Only rarely do I see bucks that are more than 3-point. When I have those, for weeks before hunting season, good'ole boys in rigs stop along the road and stare into my very well posted property with their tongues hanging out so to speak. I have fun chasing them off my property when hunting season starts. I've had them shoot at deer from their cars. Poaching is common. This despite the claims of American sportsman's great ethics. I even chase of people who have bumper stickers saying Ask First. LOL! It is ludicrous to claim that hunting does not diminish the population age, at least of deer in the NW. Can't speak for the rest of the country but I doubt there is any magic anywhere else distorting reality.
