The drop in home prices in many frothy bubble markets is much worse than the reported figures. Figure what is happening in parts of Florida, Arizona, Nevada and inland CA to spread. I see it every day in FL and the reported median price drops are way off from the reality. Collateral in great danger goes far beyond the lowest 5-10% tranch + very high leverage by everyone with their hands in the cookie jar creates a banking crisis. What stocks showed the most relative strength 1989-92? Those sectors should be bought when you get bargains on any stock market crash.. I'm sure most here have a handle on that<g>
