Joe, Shanghai is just a shrink of Barcelona. 6MB L3 is a rather good indicator that Shanghai doesn't feature ZRAM (just shrunken SRAM). The only opportunity I'm seeing for ZRAM is for a complete redesign after Shanghai as cache hierarchy redesign is a biggy because it influences non cache parts of the processor too. Also if ZRAM doesn't arrive with the redesign it probably isn't coming ever. My 2c. Regards, Rink
