ARRS is building partnership with many companies to support Docsis 3.0 protocol for voip, ip everything. Everything ip is ip everything. Cable digital, and broadcasting digital networks will merge finally with broadband. So, ip set-top box will be easier to build and distribute to customers. One set-top box for every analog TV(interlace technology) as well as digital TV(monitor style, maybe vod channels).
