Novell netware server is an extension of desktops thru ethernet connection, on its terabyte hdd and network printers. The client to server arrangement can have client directly save or download files from the Novell server. You can also print on network corporate headquarter's color laser printers from far away office.

Netware is much more than the sles operating system. Your desktop will have x:, y: and z; access on the server. You night even be able to use the server drams(ramdisk) on your desktop swap.fs.

So, if you have Oracle or SAP on Sles; Many branches can input data to the corporate server directly on the hdd with netware.

Email should be going thru email client on the net such as Gmail, free and more storage space allowed. Netware has to install website or portals to handle email usage.

Netware can sell a lot of raid5 failsafe redundant terabyte hdds?
