"do you really think fibr can earn $.69 in 98 and $1.26 in 99"
IMHO NO! interesting comments on the fibr thread lately, they have been guessing what the current quarter will be. zacks estimated $.23 but it seems that $.05 is more likely. there is only one analyst covering for zacks and it looks like an outdated estimate.
unfortunately fibr has a history of not coming in anywhere near its estimate. the ongoing story is, just wait till next year.
don't get me wrong, I am long on fibr, there is a chance that eventually things will go as forecast and by 99 they might make $1.26, realistically that will not happen.
but the price is so low that the upside potential is much greater than the downside risk.
as to what fibr will actually earn, your guess is as good as mine!

i haven't followed ctys as closely, but it also looks like a company that was pushed down by momentum players and will eventually come back to a more reasonable higher price. the ctys thread is very active and should give you a better idea of how reliable the predicted earnings are!
for example see exchange2000.com
