Swan, in most of those places you were near a Volkswagen or an Audi factory.

The stats I've seen are from 2007, and they showed the top 10-vehicles in China in sales. Things change quickly, so your early 2006 stats are a relic of the past.

Heck, I think GM's China sales are up about 35% from this time last year.

I travel about 3,000 miles a year by car in China, and I get to see the changes.

We could get a Buick delivered in 1-day (and we have), but a Camry takes almost 6-months to get there.

You should see the prep they do on cars there prior to delivery, which is to say they do none.

Most salespeople are salary also, so the sales teams are usually abysmal.
