She's got her father twisted so tightly around her little finger, I've taken to inspect it ever so often to make sure the blood supply hasn't been cut off.
She did manage to really make him mad the other day. She thought she was being cute but, what she said, how she said it, and when she said it, sent him into orbit.
I have to admit, the girl took it, didn't cry, didn't smart off and try to make light of it, she said I'm sorry, I didn't mean it how it sounded.
Then, the next day, she asked her father if she could take kick-boxing lessons.
She stands tall, admits when she's wrong and when she's softened you back up again, goes in for another dip in the "what the hell, it can't hurt to ask" pool.<g>
