whoever left their book of "Party Jokes: The Lighter Side of Kafka" in the corporate loo Ha. One of the oldest gags in teh book! Leaving a hollowed-out book, filled with wasp larvae, in a public latrine is just one of many knee-slappers in "Rilke's Big Book O'Pranks" (Grimmhaus Press, Danzig, 1913) and is the inspiration behind the long conclusion to Jürgen Alvarez's proto-modernist novel of ennui and itching, "How the Garcia Girls Got Their Groove Back After Going Into Anaphalctic Shock" I'll make sure I stay away from floor 42 for a few days.
