Elmat, This could be important, especially to you, you are still in Iran, right? US talk radio guy Quinn (broadcasts from Pittsburgh) just announced this morning that he has known for two weeks, (and I have heard him mention several times that he had very important US policy information that he could not yet disclose) that his Washington source (he calls him "Son of Deep Throat") told him that: An air strike against various military targets in Iran is likely coming soon. That at the recent initial meeting between Bush and Gordon Brown that Bush disclosed various information about Iranian activities and that Brown is now prepared to join in the attack against Iran. That the new French President Sarkozy will be part of the coalition and assist in the attack along with Israel. That leading Democrats have been briefed and that they will support the attack. That the targeting and and the war plan has been approved. That Bush will do it regardless of political damage to Republicans. That yesterdays announcement by the Bushies about actions against the Iranian Republican Guard is part of the plan. That only the Iranians can stop this and only by taking certain specific actions with regard to their nuclear program and with regard to their activities in Iraq. Quinn thinks this unlikely. That this will likely happen sooner than later as the clock is running out on the Bush administration. Quinn has been very prescient about various "inside baseball" activities within the Bush administration. Maybe this is right, maybe BS. Quinn says he made this announcement today because that now "the news is already out" and is being released by other sources. What do you think? If Quinn is right be careful over there. Slagle
