Baton 14:51 BSC Bear Stearns' stock movement suggests the possibilty of new funding - Punk Ziegel (107.74 +4.59) -Update- Punk Ziegel notes that BSC is rallying strongly today. Firm says they do not know whether the co has reached an agreement to get new funding, but the movement in the stock makes it seems possible. Firm says it is believed that BSC has been talking to Chinese banks as well as others. Firm assumes the co is seeking some type of convertible debt investment for what could be as much as 20% of the co. Firm says if BSC is successful in bringing in a "deep pocket "partner, it will stop all rumors concerning potentially more adverse results. This was on briefing...gl
