Thanks but it doesn't surprise me that that's how shortie or Harris got the info. What perplexes me is why this keeps happening over and over again. Why do these people repeatedly rely on mythology and hearsay for their source of info rather than the facts?

The facts are that the data for 1934 shows it as warmer than 1998 or 2006. Now that's a recent correction, and who knows it could get corrected again, but at this point arguments based on how hot recent years are compared to other years on record have gotten weaker.
