Just came back from a little research. A couple comments. (Not directed at you, but in answer to a couple hypotheses I saw from others.)

Institutional selling?
Bull. I looked at an intraday and it was down on all small blocks UNTIL 4:00 and THEN there was a flurry of BUYING on HUGE vol. and some BIG blocks too.

Negative Stocastics?
DUHHHH!! Yeah, it's under 20. In fact it's one of the indicators I've been watching that's been getting me ready to BUY.

Whoever that was....BUY when it's under 20, SELL when it exceeds 80.

Someone else added their two cents on that as well and the post was worth exactly that.
Stochastics cannot be used alone because they are not good at calling the bottom of a short term pullback in a BULL market.

Compare RSI (or MACD) and Bollingers for a MUCH better picture.
