What is wrong with what they are doing? The risk takers are still getting slaughtered, and even more so with this action (greedy bears caught flat-footed). The fed is preventing everyone else from suffering. I see no downside to what they are doing, and they have to do it. Cutting the fed funds rate WOULD reward the risk takers.
