Fed funds cut at the next meeting, sooner if the discount cut doesn't hold ... the Fed has unequivocally signaled that they will not let the sub-prime spread via seizing of the credit markets, and they have a lot to say about how liquid those markets are. As for gold and gold shares, not sure what the implication will be ... but it is clearly bullish for the broader markets, as they will be allowed to function more normally. I'm not suggesting straight up to the old highs, but I firmly think that the low has been seen.
