Slacker,

I believe that NOK is in a worse position having agreed to a contract with an option to extend. How can they rationalize signing an agreement with said option and then when it comes time to exercise claim that they are all paid up. I believe that by including the option language they admitted that they would continue to need a license from Q. The $20 million was a further acknowledgement. Nokia's position is that we have the right to continue using QCOM IPR while we negotiate a new rate. Seems like a weak position.
