An srticle today listed companies by the amount they spend on R&D. Intel was #5 at $1808 million. AMD spent $481 million. The real surprise on the list is Computert Associates . The article claims they spend an astonishing 45.3% of ther revenues on R&D. I wasn't able to find another source to doublecheck this, but CA is an underrvalued and misunderstood stock, one of my larger holdings. biz.yahoo.com
