Jaytee: Sorry, no shortcuts. Although I agree, sometimes these TA books put me to sleep also. I might suggest you apply some of the methods to stocks you are watching just to bring the point home. I learned TA first by watching live markets, THEN by reading the books. Watching the market to learn is far more entertaining than reading the books - not to mention more useful. I guess that's what attracts me to daytrading - I'm not sitting up all night staring at charts/stock scans/trading systems to make investment decisions.
