I wouldn't be too quick to assign such praise for Nixon's China policy. The rhetoric was opening a huge market...but what was not said was the "market" was the labor market...where corporations could take advantage of the huge cheap labor market and make a bundle.

Now we see that corporate greed outweighs community and national pride everytime. Halliburton has moved to Dubai.

You'd think these so called conservatives would be up in arms...but they are asleep at the wheel of their SUV's as usual.
