CB, it probably won't surprise you to be told that women are different from men in attitudes to buying petrol [let alone other stuff].
For example, women will pay more money for petrol without lead in it, and generally for being good, clean, people. Blokes on average earn the money and women do the spending, but there's more to it than that.
When women spend their own money, they spend it differently from men. Men won't buy scented soap [not sissy scent anyway, but it should NOT smell like a rendering plant, which is the most hideous stink on Earth, though a pig abattoir is comparable to worse. It's not so much a smell as an invasion of the cells of one's body as though one is decomposing from the inside out.
You are quite right that spending money on toilets/washroom facilities is money well spent for women. Men just need somewhere where the liquids on the floor aren't deeper than the soles of their shoes, and preferably dry enough that bare feet don't get wet.
Our daughter Emily and I were going to start a women's upmarket fashion clothing shop [I would put up the money and she would put up the brains, though we discussed things and what would be good]. We both agreed that having the best ladies' toilets in New Zealand would be an excellent part of the shop. It would be in the "Lady's Select" part of the store, available only to premium "Friends of the Store" [or something to that effect].
<nice to be able to purchase Starbucks Double Shots and Frappuccinos, not just the usual drain cleaner that passes for coffee.
Driving is an ordeal, I am willing to pay up a few cents per gallon, for clean indoor toilets, lemon scented hand soap, and decent coffee. >
I'm not sure that "decent coffee" and "Starbucks" should be used as synonyms.
At one time, BP in New Zealand tried doing away with toilets. They gave that up in a short time. The loss of business would be horrendous. Women and men really do need separate toilets. Men are pigs and women are not.
These are of course generalisations of a sexist nature and if I made them in reverse, or made them about races, people would be mortally offended and phone the police or race-hate authorities or gender discrimation enforcers. In this case though, they'll accept the truth of it.
