OT:Thank you for sharing this with us. I too want to know about those who have fought for my freedom and their stories. We do so little to honor them and like the story says never make their sacrifices public. My thoughts are they want to turn us into a bunch of wimps without weapons so one day they can come in and just start shooting us out like carnival games. It's my hope to someday figure a way to start turning out thinking around and start demanding we teach our children in schools gun safety and use training along with self defense. We're being robbed of more than I can put in words at you well know yourself.

I'm just one lady from a middle sized town that most people keep thinking is a loon until the things I warned about come to life. Then the apologies start rolling at me.

I wish more people would start taking a stand towards their Country and stop being so selfish and lazy. The greed is so embedded in our culture I doubt there's any turning it back by mere words. My heart breaks over this.

You said in an earlier post your suicidal with regards to the price of housing. Well Jim.....don't worry about it unless your planning on moving. In a way it's to your benefit as you can contact your tax department and tell them to lower those property tax rates they charge you. Your most likely not going to have to see the sale of it hopefully and maybe by the time it goes to your children things will have recovered.

Thanks for the board. My best wishes to you and I'm sorry I called you a crabby old fart. LOL!!! I guess I should have taken those comments you would say to me years ago as a compliment thinking it over today. I like you and always will. It's hard knowing that you will most likely never meet me and if something happens to you or I we'll never know except for the fact that we won't ever hear from one or another again.

Night owl let me in this direction to the board and thanks to him for this. I read you loud and clear and absolutely have the same thoughts but know it takes more than a few people to make a difference and am at my wits end with efforts. But I will keep trying. Unlike you though I do see the relevance of sharing this information. But that's okay because I'm happy to say we can still do this. That means our freedoms are still here.

I hope that medic keeps up the good work and I will try to do what I can to make things a better place too. I work with people all day long and feel that the extra time I spend with them doing the things I have put together over time to help them is worth it. I have to hide, sneak and never let my bosses know I spend an extra 10 minutes showing and helping them learn a better way to live. I know it's made a difference by the few phone calls that have came back to me telling me so. And to top it off one day I was walking through the lobby to my office and seen the most beautiful vase of mixed colored Roses you ever saw and thought to myself I wish those were for me. They were huge. Guess what? They were mine. I was so surprised. Those phone calls have made a world of difference to me. I do this and these things for everyone. If each and everyone of us would spend at least 5 hours a week doing something that mattered this world would be a much better place. But again. How do you get that to happen?

Best to all. Kim
