Snowshoe,
It could be the very definition of treason.

In this case what you have is the attempt to build a giant foreign owned toll road across Texas, creating in the process a vast enviro-nightmare half a mile wide and in the process destroying ten of thousands of Texas homes and farms. Local communities will be wrecked.

This is not to benefit the people of Texas in any way and Texans may not even be allowed on the road. One plan is to use it entirely for truck traffic and to connect the Mexican coastal ports with a Mexican "free port" up in the middle of the country, probably Kansas City. And if Texans do use it it will cost them maybe hundreds of dollars to cross their own state.

The transnationals will benefit. The foreign operators of the road will benefit. Texans will not. This is being attempted in secrecy and against the interest of Texas. So, to me this is the very dictionary definition of treason.

Were the companies Cintra of Spain and Macquarie of Australia? Wonder is what the attraction of that little island?
