Spinco should be done for one reason and one reason only: If it is in the best interest of the shareholders. IMHO, the sum of the parts together are significantly undervalued and it would be in the best interest of the shareholders to split up the company sooner rather than later. Although there maybe a conflict of interest between the BODs and the current management, I must have faith the BODs will do what's right for the shareholders.
