A college education isn't what it used to be... The rating agencies look extra stupid in all this, like Fitch, Moody's, S&P etc. Well actually, it's more than just looking stupid. The market has a systemic problem, and that is greed has taken over, and business is run these days as just pass it along down the pipeline and let that last sucker in line deal with it. Politics is run the same way. Did anyone see the Mattel ceo backpeddeling this week all over the tube. Sure, now they have put in some controls. But why didn't they think of this lead paint prospect years ago? Because they don't give a shit, profit and option grants rule above all else.
