Sam, I prefer Thai Capital, as TTF is a Morgan Stanley fund and subject to horrendous rip-off rights offerings. I prefer EWM right now, as MF is selling at a major premium.

I prefer discounted Cefs to Webs most of the time. I prefer Webs to premium CEFs most of the time.

The funds I used to manage were worth their loads. -g- Actually, I like a lot of load funds if you are a long term buy and hold or a dollar cost average type. But the load puts you too far behind the 8-ball, IMHO, if you are more active. But I like just about every fund offered by The American Funds.

However, Asia is a buy low, sell if you survive market, so forget the loadies. CEFs and Webs, along with ADRs and a handful of no-loads are the way to go. MB
