Yeah, well heck...we're spending a trillion on Iraq and we threw a 100 billion at Katrina.

Why not throw another 200 billion on that?

That would be all well and good if the REST of the WORLD wasn't starting to figure out that the ONLY reason we can keep throwing money around like that is that we don't really value money very much.

The rest of the world is seeing their dollar holdings drop continuously in value. The U.S. is acting just the same way as those mortgage companies that were putting out all that crappy debt and then putting whatever value they wanted on it.
