Heck, the leftwing fringe will not only support Hillary, they will think they invented her...and continue to want more and more goofy things. And she will be so enamoured, she will cave.

Here you do her an injustice, I think. Hillary is nothing if not disciplined. She knows what she wants - power - and she intends to get it and use it for YOUR GOOD, as she conceives it. It will be a righteous cause. She will tell the nutroots what she needs to to win the nomination; then she will do a 180 and tell the general population what a liberal hawk she still is. If she gets elected, she will pursue her ends with a single-mindedness that will make people look back on George W Bush as a good listener and compromiser.
