The problem is connecting belief in The Truth with Intolerance. Every one of the billions of Christians belive that the Trinity is The Truth. There are not enough Christians to mention who are intolerant of people who don't share that belief. The problem isn't belief, it's intolerance, ie the unwillingness to live and work with people who don't share your belief.
