Free markets and free trade tend to point in that direction.

Well, we have to equalize the over-paid American dummys with the rest of the world's dummys. Right?

Are you a citizen? Where are your loyalties?


It's not what I want or not. It is just a question of recognizing the trend.

There is one thing that would help US competitiveness vs. the rest of the world regarding imports/exorts. The taxation in the rest of the world in generally on consumption, in the US, it is on production. We are shooting ourselves in the foot. The US companies follow this perverse incentive very well - they produce elswhere (at increasing levels) and import goods to be consumed in the US.
