Yet another voluminous cut and paste job that is impossible to answer except perhaps to point out that as a lawyer Ingersoll had virtually no qualifications to make the kind of statements that he makes about Christianity or religion in general. Only those (like yourself) who know virtually nothing of either are the least bit impressed by his un-scholarly claims.

What is really "rich" is that you think it's galling to question the rantings and ravings of a man who had the gall to ignorantly blaspheme God and man alike.

And BTW. You make fun of my name? At least Greg or e has some connection with reality. If it were not for you threatening to beat me up (a deed that got you kicked off SI for a time) I would probably still be using my real name. It's only because I have to protect myself from creeps like you that I changed it. The utter arrogance and pretentiousness of calling yourself Solon is completely lost on you. You must be a genius or something.
